The Great Sioux War ignited after the U.S. Government betrayed the Black Hill Sioux. They promised the Native Americans they could keep their tribal lands. But everything changed when they found gold. This ignited the Great Sioux War of 1876. General George Custer led his 7th Cavalry at the Battle of Little Bighorn.
