Goes West imagery of the weather system bringing strong wind and rain to the Pacific Northwest. The National Weather Service's forecast for the region calls for a series of storms over the next several days that will bring heavy mountain snowfall and "a prolonged rain event" across the region. Flash flooding is possible in areas receiving the heaviest rainfall and strong winds (with gusts up to 75 mph) are expected along beaches and headlands.
