Stephen Sarkisian (/ sɑːrˈkiːʒən /; born March 8, 1974) [2] is an American football coach and former player who is the head football coach at the University of Texas at Austin. He previously was the head football coach at the University of Washington from 2009 to 2013 and the University of Southern California (USC) from 2014 to 2015.

Sarkisian not only boasts play-calling experience at the highest levels of football, but seven years as an FBS head coach ahead of his time in Austin. He guided the Southern California program in 2014-15, and the Washington Huskies from 2009-13.
