The Thornton Township Senior Transportation Department has been serving the community since 1983. We offer curb-to-curb services from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday for people ages 60 or older.

Food Assistance - Thornton Township
Thornton Township provides over 1,000 nutritious food boxes each week, providing nearly 50,000 meals annually to those in need. Many residents receiving food assistance also volunteer at the Food Assistance Center to support other families in need.
