Samsung is addressing a common issue with its upcoming One UI 7 update for Galaxy devices. It will include a system-wide toggle to control HDR content brightness, a feature that has been absent from Android devices until now. When the new Samsung software rolls out, no longer will you be subject to splashes of extreme brightness out of nowhere.

One UI 7 will let you stop HDR photos from making your Galaxy phone’s screen become super bright.
