This ruling followed two motions filed by Jay-Z's attorney Alex Spiro calling for the plaintiff's identity to be divulged and for the outright dismissal of her complaint. Torres denied both requests. In her ruling, Torres wrote, "The Court will not fast-track the judicial process merely because counsel demands it."

A federal judge in New York issued an order Thursday stating Jay-Z's attorney engaged in "ad hominem" and "inflammatory" attacks against Tony Buzbee.

Jay-Z is not taking the attacks and accusations lying down. The Hip Hop mogul has taken legal action against attorney Tony Buzbee, accusing him of defamation and extortion in response to a recent sexual assault allegation.

Buzbee and Jay z’s back and forth in the media has been pretty entertaining these past few weeks, but it may be over soon.

Roc Nation is clearly not going down without a fight. And most recently on Wednesday (Dec. 18), Jay-Z filed a motion to “speedily extract” his name from the Jane Doe lawsuit completely, according to AP News. His lawyers cited a recent TV interview where the accuser acknowledged inconsistencies in her story.

Tony Buzbee just received a small victory in court, according to reporter, Meghann Cuniff. As we previously reported, Jay-Z’s legal team filed paperwork earlier this month for the plaintiff to reveal her identity.
