Harris, a second-round pick at 55th overall, is holding out because he and the Chargers have not yet agreed on a rookie contract. In fact, 30 of the 32 second-round picks, including the Colts ' JT Tuimoloau, remain unsigned at this point.

The NFL officially has its first training camp holdout of 2025 and there could be quite a few more coming over the next few days. Tre Harris of the Los Angeles Chargers became the first player to hold out this year when he didn't report with the rest of the Chargers' rookies on Saturday.

According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, the deadline for Chargers rookies to report to training camp was today, and Harris was not present. The second-round selection from Ole Miss is one of 30 second-round picks who remain unsigned due to disputes over guaranteed money in their contracts.
