Punjab government ends salary payments via cash and cheques, mandates digital bank transfers for all employees to ensure transparency and financial efficiency.

The Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) on Tuesday revealed that an average inflation rate was recorded at 4.49 per cent in the fiscal year 2024-25.

According to details, the transport fares have been increased from Lahore to Faisalabad, Bhalwal, Chakwal and Sialkot by up to Rs100 each.
