PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A man has died after a shooting involving Phoenix police on Tuesday morning. A spokesperson with Phoenix Police says officers responded to a trespassing call at an IHOP at 19th and Northern avenues around 4:15 a.m. While they were still on the way, police were notified that a man was inside the restaurant cutting himself.

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A boy is dead after a car hit him while he was walking with his mother in east Phoenix on Monday night. It happened just after 8 p.m. near 36th Street and McDowell Road. When officers got to the scene, the victim was unconscious and in critical condition. He was rushed to the hospital, where he later died.

The report details an interaction with Rebekah Baptiste and her family that occurred in April of 2025. The 10-year-old girl was murdered in July.
