The Patriots have just one more preseason tilt to play before the games start to matter. But for many players, Thursday night's exhibition clash against the New York Giants matters quite a bit.Thursday night is the final chance for a lot of players to prove to Mike Vrabel and the Patriots -- or other teams around the NFL -- they deserve a spot on a roster or practice squad.

With Lan Larison going on injured reserve, the Patriots have three running backs who have stood out throughout training camp. So, that's the three we have making the roster. Terrell Jennings and/or JaMycal Hasty will be a clear favorite for a spot on the practice squad to add some additional depth.

Kyle Dugger, Javon Baker and Anfernee Jennings are some of the Patriots who need to impress Thursday night in New York.
