More than 50,000 Los Angeles County workers demanding higher pay continued a two-day strike Tuesday, with the walkout causing closures or disruptions at libraries, healthcare clinics and administrative offices in the nation's most populous county.

The strike could impact non-urgent health clinics, libraries, wildfire debris removal, homeless encampment enforcement and trash pickup services, the union said.
