Nottingham Forest have signed Brazilian midfielder Douglas Luiz from Juventus on an initial season-long loan with a conditional obligation to make it a permanent deal next summer, the Premier League club said.

Nottingham Forest have signed Douglas Luiz on an initial loan from Juventus, the club have announced. Luiz, who joined Juventus in a deal worth €50 million ($53.5m) a year ago, moves to Forest on an initial season-long loan deal with an obligation for the club to make the deal permanent next summer.

Juventus have completed the sale of Douglas Luiz to Nottingham Forest for a total fee of €28m plus up to €3.5m in add-ons, meaning they’ll make a significant loss a year on from his Aston Villa purchase.
