The New York-based carrier announced what it's calling the EvenMore experience, a refreshed type of extra-legroom seat located at the front of its economy cabins.

The carrier is renaming its Even More Space seats near the front of the plane and adding perks, including priority security and early boarding.

JetBlue Airways Corp. is launching a new premium economy seating option called EvenMore intended to give passengers a few extra benefits, including dedicated overhead bin space and additional legroom. The new offering will debut for flights January 28.

The same morning that JetBlue Airways announced that it was the first airline partnering with Venmo to begin accepting payments for booking flights, an account on the popular payment platform was already raking in money.

JetBlue will begin accepting Venmo as a payment method when booking tickets, the first carrier in the U.S. to do so. Venmo payments are not yet being accepted on mobile bookings. JetBlue is offering passengers a new way to pay as it looks to differentiate itself in an increasingly competitive market.
