A beloved high school teacher is among the victims of the Texas flooding disaster. Jeff Wilson, who taught at Kingwood Park High School, died “due to the catastrophic flooding in Kerrville” on Friday, July 4, according to a statement shared by the Humble Independent School District on X.

Humble ISD said Jeff Wilson, who worked in the district for three decades, was killed in the flooding that battered Kerrville County. His wife and son are still unaccounted for.

Wilson was a teacher at Kingwood Park and Humble High Schools for 30 years. His wife and son are still missing.
