HBO has finally confirmed that a fan-favorite Harry Potter character will be in the series, after being cut from the movies.

It’s more likely than you think. In a last-minute move, HBO Max has all eight Harry Potter films, plus Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald available to stream in time for launch day today.

Max has declared that this “decade-long series” will span all seven Harry Potter books in a “faithful re-creation” of the text, promising that the show will be made with “the same epic craft, love and care this global franchise is known for.
