NBA playoffs are officially underway, and the first round is in full swing with eight matchups. The Knicks, Thunder and Clippers were all victorious on Thursday night, and they enter the weekend with series leads.

The 2024-25 NBA playoffs are in full swing and there have been some great games already played in the first round. However, Shaquille O'Neal, Charles Barkley, and the NBA on TNT crew were not thrilled when they found out the television schedule for Thursday's slate of games.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the top-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder entered the playoffs as favorites to win the NBA championship, and did nothing to dissuade the betting public in winning their first two games against the Memphis Grizzlies,

The New York Knicks had a statement-making night in Detroit, beating the Pistons 118-116 in Game 3 of their first-round series Thursday. Karl-Anthony Towns paced New York with 31 points, a stark difference from his Game 2 performance, where he only scored 10 points. It was a chippy game between the two sides who battled down to the wire.

The 2025 NBA playoffs continue Thursday with three Game 3s, starting with the Detroit Pistons hosting the New York Knicks (-1.5, 214.5). That is followed by the Oklahoma City Thunder (-9.5, 227.5) at Memphis Grizzlies, then the Denver Nuggets at LA Clippers (-5.5, 212.5).
