Ford Motor Company recently announced a recall of hundreds of thousands of its vehicles due to a dangerous fuel pump defect.
The truck recall is one of four issued by Ford Motor on the same day for a range of vehicles, including SUVs.
The recall does not affect the popular Ford F-150, but 295,000 of the Super Duty diesel versions.
