Eberechi Eze is now expected to join Arsenal after the Gunners came back in for him in the 11th hour, despite agreeing a move in principle to join north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur within the last 24 hours.

Eberechi Eze was Tottenham-bound until Thursday evening. Arsenal ruthlessly swooped with a £60million fee and personal terms swiftly agreed with another wonderful addition to the squad on the way having also dealt a shuddering body blow to their oldest rivals in the process.
