Amid a tough stretch for Marlins ace Eury Perez, the young righty found his groove against the Blue Jays on Sunday.

Marlins phenom Eury Pérez, 22, made the start and dominated the first-place Blue Jays early. The 6-foot-7 right-hander retired 14 of the first 15 batters he faced, including a stretch of 12 straight from the first through the fifth inning.

Jakob Marsee hit a bases-loaded triple and Eury Pérez pitched three-hit ball into the seventh inning to lead the Miami Marlins past the Toronto Blue Jays 5-3.
