A 10-year-old boy from Oxfordshire has written a petition asking Apple to change the glasses smiley face emoji, as he believes it paints glasses-wearers in a negative light.
Having the current "nerd" emoji as the only one available for young people could be "damaging as it helps to confirm the negative stereotype and stigma that we are trying hard to destroy", she added.

The consortium also added Nerd Face, Robot Face, Unicorn Face, Cricket Bat and Ball, Sign of the Horns, and 36 other emoji characters. A full list of new emoji is available on Emojipedia.
Unfortunately, the only glasses wearing emoji I can find is a nerd face (unless you are a granny or a teacher) and I wondered if this is something you could please change.
