The 49ers need to find a high-quality running mate for Fred Warner at linebacker. The 33rd Team thinks the 49ers should go big and sign Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Zack Baun.

Philadelphia Eagles All-Pro linebacker Zack Baun revealed that he honored legendary Eagles linebacker Bill Bergey during the team’s Super Bowl run. Baun wore Bergey’s medallion during the team’s run in the postseason.

His contributions to the Eagles' Super Bowl season were surprising. He helped make what was considered one of the team’s weakest positions in 2023 one of its greatest strengths in 2024. Every one of his teammates wants him back in 2025 because he was such a terrific leader.

The Denver Broncos linebackers really struggled this past season. They lost leading tackler Alex Singleton early on in the year and had to rely on Cody Barton and special teamer Justin Strnad to be their starting linebackers.
