Born in Long Beach on June 4, 1944, and partly raised in Mexico City after losing her mother at a young age, Michelle’s life is full of highs and lows.

Actress Michelle Phillips, who also was one-fourth of The Mamas and the Papas, will appear with Harry Dean Stanton on Sunday at the film festival. They starred together in the 1973 film Dillinger.

Phillips will appear Saturday night at the Cypress Pops Orchestra’s concert, which is named “California Dreamin”‘ after one of the biggest hits of The Mamas and the Papas.
