Built in 1953, the historic SS Badger will head to Sturgeon Bay April 30 under its own power for work before its season of crossing the lake begins.

The Lake Express Ferry will offer service up to six times daily between Milwaukee and Muskegon, Michigan, running from May 2 to Oct. 20.
