The capsule toy market continues to expand. According to the Japan Toy Association, the market was worth 64 billion yen in the fiscal year ending in March 2024, up 5 percent from the previous year.

Bandai’s Gundum plastic models were one of the popular toys that attracted kids as well as adults at International Tokyo Toy Show. Gundum celebrates its 30th anniversary this year.
