If you do happen to have a Bowser amiibo in your collection, you can use it to interact with Bowser’s Fury. Tapping this figure on the game will force Fury Bowser to show up right then and there.

As for Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury, that's priced at $59.99 and is available in the Nintendo eShop. Nintendo says that it's also releasing new amiibo figures, for Cat Mario and Cat Peach.

Amiibo have both the same effect in Super Mario 3D World and Bowser’s Fury, so you’ll be able to get all the in-game items your heart desires regardless of what game you scan them into.

What the Bowser amiibo does is automatically spawn Fury Bowser. So when you get to the boxes, tap the amiibo, have Fury Bowser open the boxes, then get the Shine and have Fury Bowser go away.

Also available are two new amiibo (Cat Mario and Cat Peach) and two re-issued Super Smash Bros. amiibo (Bowser and Bowser Jr.). These unlock special activations when scanned while playing the game.
