Residents of Twin Elms Apartments, including many seniors, have hauled their groceries, packages and themselves up the stairs for more than six months as they have waited on a fix.

Bobby Simon spoke exclusively to KHOU 11 News and said one elevator has been down for about a week and the other has not been working for roughly a year.
