Kevin Magnussen could not have started his new adventure in the IMSA championship on a better note. The Danish driver, who has left Formula 1 after a decade in the sport, took pole position with his BMW teammates for the 24 Hours of Daytona.

Komatsu did not disclose who else might serve as reserve drivers for Haas in 2025, but the responsibilities are expected to be shared among Magnussen, and the Toyota affiliated drivers Ritomo Miyata and Ryo Hirakawa, despite the latter being Alpine's reserve driver.
Now, again without a Formula 1 seat for 2025, Magnussen is embracing a fresh challenge with BMW, competing in the full WEC championship, the iconic Le Mans 24 Hours, and this weekend's Daytona 24 Hours.
