The episode took place from Philadelphia last night and was the go-home show for Sunday’s Heatwave PLE. It drew a 0.15 rating in the 18-49 demo, down 11.8 percent from last week and marking the lowest rating NXT has done in that category since July 15.

Tuesday's episode of WWE NXT will be kicked off by a Philadelphia Street Fight between Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura.

Former TNA World Champion Joe Hendry will appear on WWE NXT this Tuesday. Hendry was on commentary for the Mike Santana vs. Sami Callihan match at TNA Emergence in Baltimore on Friday night, where it was revealed he’ll be in Philadelphia for NXT’s show from The Met.

Heatwave should be a decent show with the card WWE has put in place, but NXT’s weekly shows have been lacking some of the excitement that once made the brand must-see TV every week. If it can find a way to regain that, NXT could become the best brand in WWE again.

Josh Briggs picked up a massive win in his NXT career, defeating Yoshiki Inamura in a Philadelphia Street Fight on WWE NXT. The match between the former tag team partners kicked off the August 19 episode of NXT.

The final episode before Heatwave this Sunday will feature a No. 1 contender's match for the NXT Championship between Trick Williams and Je'Von Evans. Plus, Ricky Saints will be in action.
