Rhode Island Attorney General Peter Neronha on Tuesday reacted to a state prosecutor's arrest. Special Assistant Attorney General Devon Hogan Flanagan was arrested in Newport last week for willful trespass. Police said they had been called to Clarke Cooke House on Bannister’s Wharf for a call for an “unwanted party.”

While being arrested for trespassing, Devon Flanagan, an assistant attorney general in Rhode Island, told officers, "You're gonna regret this."

The Rhode Island Attorney General's Office said it is conducting a review following the arrest of one of its prosecutors, who could be seen on body camera footage telling an officer, "You're gonna regret this,
