White House officials continue to swagger, but there may be less cause for optimism than they would have the public believe

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has approved a law to halt cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), a move which will likely obscure any attempt by Tehran to restart its damaged nuclear program.

The decision means that international inspectors will not be able to oversee sites. Experts have warned that Tehran could revive plans to build a bomb.

Iran is assessing the damage and lashing out over the American and Israeli airstrikes that damaged its nuclear sites.

The U.S. bombing of Iran's key Fordow nuclear site has "seriously and heavily damaged" the facility, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said in an interview with CBS News. "No one exactly knows what has transpired in Fordow.

Some nuclear proliferation experts told ABC News they believe the strikes could lead to a "fork-in-the-road" moment that results in Tehran taking a more dangerous and secretive path to obtaining nuclear arms if it chooses to do so.
