Torino have announced the signing of midfielder Cesare Casadei from Chelsea on a four-and-a-half-year contract. Sources close to the deal have told BBC Sport the Blues have received a £12.5m fee for the 22-year-old and there is also a sell-on clause.

Chelsea midfielder Cesare Casadei is on the verge of joining Serie A outfit Torino, according to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio. Casadei, who joined Chelsea from Inter Milan, has had limited first-team opportunities since his €15 million move in 2022.
