Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales, announced Tuesday she is in remission, months after completing chemotherapy for an undisclosed type of cancer that she disclosed to the world nearly a year ago.

Catherine, Princess of Wales, confirmed Tuesday that her cancer is in remission during a visit with the staff and patients of the Royal Marsden in Chelsea.

Kate, the Princess of Wales, announced Tuesday that her cancer is in remission, less than one year after announcing her diagnosis. The 43-year-old princess shared the update in a statement on X, writing, "It is a relief to now be in remission and I remain focused on recovery."

Prince William is making his first royal outing of the year (and taking on a new patronage) after Kate Middleton announced she is in "remission" from cancer.
