Thailand are through to the ASEAN Championship final but only after producing an almighty effort to get past Philippines.

Thailand will face Vietnam in the final of the Asean Championship after Suphanat Mueanta's dramatic extra-time header secured a 4-3 aggregate victory over the Philippines. Vietnam reached the final by defeating Singapore with a 5-1 aggregate score.

The Philippines will take on Thailand anew in the second leg of the 2024 ASEAN Championship (AFF Mitsubishi Electric Cup) semifinals on Monday in Bangkok.
