Tottenham Hotspur have responded to Arsenal sealing a deal for Eberechi Eze by making a new offer for Manchester City winger Savinho.

Arsenal have agreed to a fee of close to £68 million ($92m) with Crystal Palace for midfielder Eberechi Eze, sources have told ESPN.

Tottenham 's transfer plans have been thrown into disarray after missing out on another major target this summer. The north Londoners may now set their sights on Monaco's midfield maestro Maghnes Akliouche following Eberechi Eze's decision to join arch-rivals Arsenal.

Eberechi Eze is close to joining Tottenham after Arsenal backed out of the race. The England international is expected to start for Crystal Palace in the first leg of the UEFA Conference League play-off against Fredrikstad on Thursday before sealing a £60m move to Spurs.
