Jorrel Hato insists he will not leave Ajax in the January transfer window after being linked with a move to Liverpool. The 18-year-old defender is regarded as one of Ajax’s brightest prospects and has already attracted strong interest from Arsenal.

Hato was spotted at Anfield to watch Liverpool thrash Ipswich Town on the weekend, fuelling speculation that he could be about to join the club. However, it has been reported by De Telegraaf that he was simply visiting Gravenberch, who invited him to the game.
