A Quincy man will serve six months in jail after he pleaded guilty to burning a caged raccoon in 2023, authorities said.

Andrew Chieu, 64, of Quincy, pleaded guilty to two counts of animal cruelty. Authorities say lit a live raccoon on fire. The animal died of her wounds.
