As announced on Monday morning, right guard Robert Hunt will be headed to Orlando, Fla. this week to represent the team in the 2025 Pro Bowl Games. This is the first career Pro Bowl selection for the 28-year-old hog molly, who will be replacing Super Bowl-bound Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman Landon Dickerson on the NFC squad.

As in the Pro Bowl Games, Super Bowl LVIII includes a monetary incentive to win, although the $171,000 for winners and $96,000 for losers is a departure from the NFL’s usual twice-as-much payday for the winners still reflected in bonuses for the Pro Bowl Games, where the losers will receive $46,000 on Sunday.

The Pro Bowl has a credibility problem. This year's replacements list is nearly as long as the initial roster. Many of those replacements are going for legitimate, well-derserved reasons. The Chiefs and Eagles combined for 11 Pro Bowl selections,

Two other players with Alabama football roots were chosen for the Pro Bowl Games but are not participating – Philadelphia Eagles guard Landon Dickerson (Alabama) and Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry (Alabama).
