A man died Sunday after a shootout with deputies in Lancaster County, the sheriff said. The shooting happened after 12:30 p.m. on Mosteller Drive after the man had called law enforcement to say he had killed a woman and her child inside the house, Sheriff Barry Faile said in a written statement and on sheriff’s office social media.
