Over the next two years, thanks to Michele, sales at Gucci ballooned by 50 percent, the highest in 20 years. Michele was a favorite of Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, Jared Leto and Jessica Chastain.
Michele, who has been with Gucci for 20 years, assumed the role in 2015. Before becoming creative director, he was in the company's shoe and accessories department.
