Saturday, Haliburton and his family will be in Hilton Coliseum for ISU's matchup with Arizona and will be honored at halftime with a banner commemorating the gold medal he earned in Paris last summer with the U.S Olympic team. He is the eighth Cyclone to win a gold medal at the Olympics and first in basketball.

AMES – No. 9 Iowa State grabbed an 84-67 win over No. 22 Arizona in its return to Hilton Coliseum. It happened behind a strong first half from 3-point range and lockdown defense on the other end. It was also in front of former Cyclone players Tyrese Haliburton and Georges Niang.
It may have been a difficult month for Iowa State basketball, but the Cyclones got to celebrate their past and remind people of a promising future
