The Songwriters Hall of Fame has announced its 2025 inductees, including George Clinton, The Beach Boys’ Mike Love, and The Doobie Brothers.

The 2025 list of honorees for the prestigious Songwriters Hall of Fame has been unveiled. This morning, January 22, CBS’ Senior Culture Correspondent

Gorley will be joined by George Clinton; Tom Johnston, Michael McDonald and Patrick Simmons of the The Doobie Brothers; Rodney," "Darkchild" Jerkins; Mike Love and Tony Macaulay for the induction on June 12 in New York City.

Musical legends George Clinton, Tom Johnston, Michael McDonald, and Patrick Simmons of The Doobie Brothers, Ashley Gorley, Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, Mike Love, and Tony Macaulay will be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame at the 2025 Induction and Awards Gala.
