Jac Caglianone is only a few months removed from playing college ball at Florida, and now the first round pick is set to join the Kansas City Royals for Spring
The Royals have extended Caglianone an invitation to big-league camp during spring training, Anne Rogers of MLB.com reports.
Kansas City Royals first baseman Jac Caglianone, the team's top-ranked prospect and No. 17 on MLB Pipeline's top-100 list, has been invited to big-league camp at spring training next month. The 21-year-old left-handed slugger was taken sixth overall in last year's MLB draft out of Florida.
Bubic thrived in relief in 2024 in his first full year back from Tommy John surgery, holding a 2.67 ERA and 39:5 K:BB over 30.1 frames. The lefty will be stretched out in spring training as the Royals consider him for their rotation.
