George Clinton and Rodney “Darkchild” Jenkins have been selected for induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, which celebrates accomplished artists, producers, and writers for their musical contributions.
George Clinton, The Doobie Brothers, Mike Love of the Beach Boys, and other artists will be honored at a ceremony in June.
Mike Love, a co-founder and lead vocalist for the Beach Boys, is among this year’s fun, fun, fun honorees for the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Love’s induction, which comes exactly 25 years after his bandmate Brian Wilson was bestowed with the award,
