The New York Jets are on the hunt for their next head coach after firing their last man, Robert Saleh, in the middle of the 2024 season. Interim coach Jeff Ulbrich was interviewed as a candidate but it’s unlikely he will receive the promotion after the Jets 5-12.

The New York Jets have requested to interview San Francisco 49ers quarterbacks coach Brian Griese for their head-coach opening, according to sources. The Jets are searching for new leadership after firing former head coach Robert Saleh after just five games in 2024.

According to Brian Costello of the New York Post, 49ers QB coach Brian Griese declined an interview request from the Jets for their head coaching vacancy.
