Microsoft Edge for Android appears to be getting support for extensions in the latest pre-release build of the browser.

Microsoft started testing extension support on the mobile version of Edge recently. After one week, it's clear that Microsoft should have supported extensions from the start.

Microsoft Edge is setting up support for extensions on Android, though it might be a while before the functionality rolls out.

On the Sync your Passwords screen, select Install Extension next to Microsoft Edge. Select Get on the extension's listing page in Microsoft Edge, and choose Add extension.

Microsoft today announced a slew of incoming Edge extensions. Partners announced include Pinterest, AdBlock, Adblock Plus, LastPass, Amazon Assistant, Evernote, and Page Analyzer powered by Vorlon.js.
