Getting started with Microsoft Word's voice typing feature is a breeze, and the process is identical whether you're using the Word app on a PC or in a web browser.
Some words are so hard to spell that you can’t even get close enough for autocorrect to figure out what you’re trying to write. Luckily, your device probably has dictation built in.
With voice typing, you can dictate your emails instead of having to type them out. Try opening your email app, clicking in the body of the message, hit Windows + H, and start speaking.
Otherwise, it won’t detect your voice to type in Word. If a microphone is already connected, you can check if it is working with other apps such as Voice Recorder.
