Visual Studio 2022 17.4 Preview 1 furthers Microsoft's efforts to support the Arm64 architecture in its flagship IDE, adding a new supported workload among other improvements.

Microsoft announces that the first fully supported Arm64 version of Visual Studio that runs natively is ready to download.

Microsoft has released Visual Studio 2022 17.3 Preview 2. This is a major release because it is the first version of the IDE to pack native support for ARM64 hardware, but only on Windows 11 for now.

Developers can now use the latest Visual Studio preview to build native ARM64 apps for Windows 10 on ARM PCs.
