Twitter has begun cutting off developer access to the API, including for those companies wanting to pay the platform thousands of dollars per month for its upcoming paid Enterprise tiers.

After weeks of stalling, Twitter finally announced its new API price structures: Free, $100 per month basic, and enterprise.

The change will take place on March 20. Twitter users will have two other ways to authenticate their Twitter log-ins at no cost: an authentication mobile app and a security key.
