The Blue Zoo Aquarium inside the Mall of Louisiana was closed Tuesday after a python used in shows to entertain children escaped from its enclosure, according to reports.

Cara, a Burmese Python who lives at the Blue Zoo Interactive Aquarium located in Baton Rouge's Mall of Louisiana, somehow escaped her enclosure Tuesday.

A 12-foot Burmese python, that slithered out of her enclosure at an aquarium inside the Mall of Louisiana, was found safe early Thursday morning, according to an aquarium representative.
