Android custom kernels, also called ROMs, can be applied to your operating system to add features, improve performance or change certain parts of the operating system.

The phone has a number of Android 10 custom ROMs and now thanks to a developer called iamharshdeb on Telegram, users can also taste Android 11 on Redmi Note 7 Pro codenamed ‘Violet’.

Update: There are now several different custom ROMs based on Android 4.1 for the Kindle Fire, including Jandycane, Iced Jellybean, Alien Droid, and an SGT7 mod.
